Driver Risk Assessment

Driver Risk Assessments

AAFT Driver Risk Assessments are designed around your company’s needs and so we help to reduce both your company’s and drivers’ risks on the road whilst at work.

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 stated that employers have a 'Duty of Care' towards its employees. Most company car drivers have had no training since passing their driving test and habits do creep in. Just think how often employees are sent on training courses during the year for work related assignments. Would you trust someone to fit your new gas central heating system that isn't 'gas safe' registered?

AAFT bespoke Risk Assessments helps your company…

•Meet its 'Duty of Care',

•Train some of your drivers that need it most

•Reduce collision rates and wear and tear on the vehicle

•By providing a detailed report on the drivers and risk

•By making sure that your drivers are safe and drive legally

Training can take place from your company’s address or from the driver’s home address with the training across a full or half day. This will cover a variation of roads as well as reversing. In-car technology is also included in the training and the negative effects this can have on everyday driving.

We use iPad training forms and materials to make the sessions both informative and interactive.

Once the training is completed, an in-depth report is sent to the Fleet Manager detailing areas of risk and ways to help reduce it. We also provide a PDF certificate for the driver upon completion of the course.
